A day after remarks by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) that were mildly critical of Donald Trump were leaked from a private New York fundraiser, the GOP frontrunner fired a verbal shot across the bow of his rising GOP challenger, possibly signaling a new chapter in the Republican race for President.
With Cruz rising in the polls – and even leading in one from Iowa this week – Trump made clear that if Cruz starts attacking, “he will fall like all others” who have tried to disloged the GOP leader.

With less than two months until Iowa and New Hampshire, recent polls show there is still a great deal of uncertainty in the race for the Republican nomination for President, as a large majority of voters are fully admitting they haven’t made a final choice for the GOP nomination.
“Just 1-in-5 (20%) Iowa GOP caucus goers say they are completely set on their choice,” read a new poll out on Monday from Monmouth University.
Just think about that for a moment – 80 percent of Republican voters in Iowa could still change their mind before February 1.

A week after the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California that killed fourteen people, the FBI Director told Senators that so far, there is no evidence of Islamic State terrorist cells being operational in the United States.
“Do you believe ISIL cells are already here in the America?” asked Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
“I don’t have reason to believe that,” said FBI Director James Comey.

A week after the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California that killed 14 people, FBI Director James Comey told a U.S. Senate hearing that the husband-wife team had been radicalized before they met over the internet and were married.
“They were talking to each other about jihad and martyrdom before they became engaged,” said the FBI chief.
