The intruder in the Brigham operating room — how did she get there?
For several days, she roamed the halls of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, dressed in scrubs, asking questions at a lecture, attending patient rounds, and observing operations.
She said she was a doctor-in-training, but she wasn’t.
The hospital caught on, even posting a security alert, but she showed up at Massachusetts General Hospital and tried to get into Children’s Hospital. The incidents show how difficult it can be to enforce security at large institutions.
